Draft for launch review. This is not legal advice. Update it when you add analytics, email, or paid features.

Privacy

Rooh is built so you can share a biodata on your terms. This page explains what we store and why. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

  • Account: name, email, hashed password, and session cookies.
  • Biodata: the details you publish (age, city, faith, work, photos, and your story).
  • Connections and letters you send after a request is accepted.
  • Technical logs such as IP address and browser, used to keep the service secure.

How it is used

We use this to run Explore, Inbox, and My biodata; to send password-reset or verification mail if that is configured; and to stop abuse. Photos are private until you have a biodata. Other members see your published profile, not your email.

Who sees it

Hosting runs on Vercel. Profiles and messages live in Neon Postgres. If photo object storage is connected, private images sit there instead of the database. We do not use advertising pixels today.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while it is open. Write to hello@joinrooh.com to ask for deletion. Backups may linger for a short period.

Your choices

You can edit or unpublish your biodata, sign out, and request deletion. You can also ask what we hold on you. If we add required age or safety checks later, we will say so here.

Meaningful beginnings, mutual respect.
